Design Objective:
Create a tool to help the BASF sales team explain complex and overlapping product discounts to farmers.

Design Solution:
A standalone calculator with all the discount information encoded into a dynamic PDF file.

The calculator allows the farmer to input his information with BASF products to see the breakdown of the cost of products and all applicable discounts.

Result:
The calculator simplifies the sales discussion between the sales team and the customer. It provides accurate discount information, which allows the farmer to immediately see how changes in his purchasing decision affect his discount. By shifting the complex calculations to the calculator, both the sales team and customer have more confidence in the accuracy of the pricing.
